Middle Name

An exploration of human connection, relationships, and patterns. It investigates universal interrelation and the subconscious/conscious experiences that tie us together on interpersonal and worldly scales. Born out of experimental improvisation scores created by the dancers, it rides on chance and organized chaos. Playful, inviting, and revealing, it is both familiar and undefined. My goal is to engage, draw in and welcome the audience—every individual who witnesses the work—into a shared exploration of the exact moment in time being experienced, the moments that have passed, and those still to come.

WESTFEST DANCE FESTIVAL (2025)

A conversation with the Brat

A supported solo performance that creates itself in a structured improvisational, durational score in an interactive installation that looks like a warped version of my childhood bedroom. Throughout the piece, the Brat, played by me, goes on a journey of processing and understanding key moments of her life that shaped who she is. And reclaiming the feeling of being misunderstood that has been following her since preschool. It includes digital art and home-video film projections, live sound composing, and surveillance-style camera work that is also projected around the space.

I'm Feeling Peck-ish

A site-specific work created in homage to Justin Peck’s Become a Mountain (2022). This piece is meant to feel like a kind of possession, as the dancer gradually invites the freedom and reclamation of Peck’s genius to inhabit her.
